BlocOut blinds can enhance the performance of all forms of roof window.
All BlocOut Blinds can also be provided with a solar powered motor, allowing you to operate the blinds remotely or to programme them to open and close when no one is home.
There is a choice of silver or white channels on roof window blinds. All automated blinds feature a seamless handle without the need for a bar. A remote control is provided with all automated blinds. An edge mounted fl y screen is also available to block insects without affecting the functionality of your roof window.

Bloc Blind's Skylite blinds come in two formats; Blackout and Dimout. With a wide range of colours, and custom designs, Bloc Blind's Skylite blinds are an ideal choice for any style of bedroom, bathroom or study. They are easy to operate with our patented locking system, and are made to measure to enable perfect fit.
Bloc Blind's Blackout Range
The Bloc Blind's Blackout range reduce the heat loss in winter and solar gain in the summer, giving comfortable temperatures for all seasons. They provide total light control, giving total blackout when necessary and allowing some light in when needed due to the blind being able to be fixed to any position.
Bloc Blind's Dimout Range
Bloc Blind's Dimout range diffuses the light, offering you both the benefits of light penetration and privacy.
Bloc Blind's Thermal Feature
The Bloc Blind's blinds are designed with intelligent thermal qualities, verified heat loss savings from at least 25% heat loss reduction(BBA Tested). This is made possible by the thermal fabric and the ‘sealing effect’ of the Bloc Blind's blind, which traps the air between the fabric and the glass. By preventing air from circulating around the window air from the room is stopped from being cooled by the glazing pane.
The thermal image below shows the extent of heat loss through the home during the winter months, the red areas being the ones where most heat is lost.
During the summer months the white reflective backing on all the Bloc Blind's fabrics reflects the sun’s rays and therefore stops the sunshine from heating the room.
